Country Music Stars Respond To Vegas Shooting, Offer The One Thing America Needs
After the recent tragedy in Las Vegas, Nevada, the nation has been left heartbroken and in shock. However, when all else seemed lost, several country music stars decided to respond to the shooting and offer Americans the one thing that we all needed the most. After shooter Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip during a Jason Aldean concert, America was left feeling horrified and heartbroken. Paddock had successfully murdered at least 58 people and injured over 500 more. It was as if no one knew what to do or say, as the death toll only continued to rise, and evidence of Paddock’s motive is nowhere to be seen. However, several country stars turned to social media to offer the one thing Americans need the most – prayer.

Feeling just as heartbroken as the rest of us, these country stars knew that the only way we could get through this was to turn to God. Without saying a word to one another, they simultaneously posted on their social media accounts to express their grief over the incident and share prayers for the country.

Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, LeAnn Rimes Cibrian, and many others were unknowingly given the duty from God to guide America to Him and to help us heal from this tragedy. Even Jason Aldean, the country singer who was on stage when the massacre began, immediately turned to social media to address what had happened and to offer prayer.

“Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still don’t know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe,” the singer wrote, according to Breitbart. “My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night.”It’s a shame that one man can cause so much pain and horror. We’ve seen it far too many times. We here at Mad World News are thinking of all the families and loved ones affected by this tragedy and are praying for them during the long road that lies ahead. Although it will be difficult, it is nothing that God can’t help them with.
